We are pleased to announce the release of firmware 5.1.1 for all of our audio amplifiers. Key enhancements for this new firmware include the addition of a new music service in the built-in streamer along with the ability to personalize the homescreen of the app to your specific location. Custom Zone Images
Make the Juke app your own with the ability to now upload custom images for your zones that will then populate throughout the homescreen. You can upload photos directly from your camera roll or take a live photo as well. This new feature greatly improves the overall aesthetic of the app and creates an experience that is unique to the specific location where the product is installed.
Additionally, we have implemented the feature to move the zones into our desired order on the homescreen. To do so, do a long hold on your desired zone and you’ll then be able to move its location on the screen to your desired area.
To add zones, navigate to the zone settings in the Admin section of the app, click on your zone and you’ll be able to upload the pictures. Once you get the green check mark after uploading, you can exit from that screen and return to the homescreen with the image in place.
Qobuz Now Available
We have added Qobuz as a new music service in our built-in streamer to complement the currently offered services of Tidal, TuneIn, and Pandora. Qobuz is widely regarded for offering top-tier, lossless audio quality. It specializes in high-resolution (Hi-Res) audio, streaming FLAC files up to 24-bit/192 kHz, which is considered studio-quality sound, making it a top choice for audiophiles and serious listeners.
From within the Juke app, you will be able to utilize Qobuz to search across the service for artists, albums, and specific tracks. You can cue up your favorite music and play it out to any of the connected speakers however you please. We will also be adding support for playlists in a follow up release.
